यह भर्ती प्रधानमंत्री स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा योजना (PMSSY) के तहत क्षेत्रीय स्वास्थ्य देखभाल समानता और चिकित्सा शिक्षा विकास को बढ़ावा देने के लिए आयोजित की जा रही है।
Medical Candidates: MD/MS/DNB or equivalent in the relevant discipline + 14 years of experience.
Super-specialty: DM/M.Ch or equivalent + relevant experience.
Non-Medical Candidates: Postgraduate qualification (M.Sc. + PhD) in the relevant subject + 14 years of teaching/research experience.
Associate Professor & Assistant Professor:
Same qualifications as above but with lesser experience (6 years for Associate, 3 years for Assistant).

Additional Professors: 10 years of teaching/research experience.
Associate Professors: 6 years of teaching/research experience.
Assistant Professors: 3 years of teaching/research experience.
